Rare essential oil of Strawberries

Helichrysum Italicum is a beautiful, strongly aromatic plant with bright yellow flowers. It is grown mainly in the Balkans, Italy and Corsica. It is also known as Immortelle or Everlast. Its flowers retain their color and brightness after being cut and dried. Its precious essential oil also has a strong anti-aging effect and healing properties, which I would like to introduce to you today.

Golden straw hat

There are many synonyms for the names of Helichrysum, I recommend always following the INCI, i.e. clearly defined nomenclature in Latin. In Latin nomenclature it is listed as Helichrysum Italicum. As is known, the Romans acquired their knowledge of essential oils from the ancient Greeks, and so this Latin name is derived from the Greek Hélios, i.e. sun, and Chrysos, i.e. gold. Seeing a blooming field of Helichrysum is an experience of a lifetime.

Skin regeneration and protection

The precious Helichrysum Italicum oil is truly a luxury item and a profitable investment. This oil is anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, strongly healing, helps heal bruises and bruises because it prevents blood clotting, soothes redness, effectively improves the condition of the skin and scars, both new and old. In a study (“Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties of Helichrysum Italicum,” published in the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology 54, no.3 2002: 365-71.) from 2002 on the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of Helichrysum Italicum, the regenerative and protective effect of Helichrysum Italicum against free radicals is scientifically proven. That is why this precious oil is added to luxury cosmetics, but you will always find it there only in minimal quantities. Helichrysum Italicum effectively helps to slow down skin aging and protect it from adverse environmental influences.

Dilution

Dilution with vegetable oil is recommended, 1% of essential oil of yarrow in 99% of base oil is sufficient. In other words, add 1 ml, approximately 25 drops, of yarrow to a 100 ml bottle.

If you want to heal scars better, both old and new, it is recommended to dilute exclusively with cold-pressed rosehip oil. Mix 15 ml of rosehip oil with 1 ml of linseed oil in a 100 ml bottle and add another base oil. Apply to scars 2-3 times a day and the effect will appear in 1-6 months. The synergy of omega 3 acids in rosehip oil and terpenoids in linseed oil is miraculous. I can only add that I myself use rosehip oil with linseed oil and my skin has significantly regenerated, my skin tone has become even and my small acne scars have healed. After 3 months of use, I see a significant difference.

Frankincense oil is also recommended for skin injuries. Kurt Schnaubelt, in his book, The Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils, The Science of Advanced Aromatherapy, p.152, talks about direct application to bleeding wounds, which will clean, relieve pain, and accelerate their healing. He recommends undiluted, as this logically prevents the base oil from getting directly into the wounds.

Frankincense essential oil is simply a miracle that will find its place in your home. Its distinctive warm herbal scent may surprise you, give it a chance, the result is worth it.
