You are probably wondering how pure raw materials are transported from distilleries to sterile laboratories or other production lines. How are they packaged and how are they stored? When working with unpreserved pure products, we must be extremely careful to adhere to all the principles that are not there to scare you, but to preserve all the qualities of these raw materials. In particular, cleanliness must be scrupulously observed to avoid contamination.
Care, certification, export
All of the raw materials we select come from certified distilleries with a long tradition. Our BIO Pink range is all the more unique because the distillation copper vessels were filled with flowers from the best local producer's own BIO production. It is therefore no wonder that his certified fields, under the heading Balkan Biocert, surrounded by a fence and heavily guarded. BIO rose waters have undergone standardized chemical analysis by the State Laboratory, bearing, of course, the thematic name - "Bulgarian Rose". Each dispatched order is accompanied by a lot of documents and handover protocols. Why so much care? Because it is about guaranteeing traceability not only of the origin of each barrel, but also of the traceability of its subsequent export. Here, the motto is followed, diligence pays off. As is generally known, natural raw materials are often adulterated. If such a phenomenon occurs, at any stage of distribution, the entire sector falls into disrepute - from the grower to the manufacturer to the seller. And unfortunately, the worst off are the farmers themselves, who have put all their energy and financial resources into their fields. It is hard and honest work. That is why we purchase individual products only from our own documented fields, i.e. directly from the producer, no resellers, no mixing of products from two or more growers.
Special packaging with special handling
And now the important thing – how is the BIO rose water itself exported? Immediately after the production process is completed, it travels from the distillation vessels to standardized barrels. How specific are they? Are they sterile barrels intended for use in the food industry, dark and carrying contents weighing exactly 210 kg or 1000 kg (We already have the first batch in stock and others are on the way). Smaller quantities in various other containers are always bulk production, logically without guarantees of sterility, non-puncture, steam distillation date and certification. Therefore, as consumers, do not be afraid to ask the seller for proof of origin.
Standardized and sterile barrels are hermetically sealed after filling. Their caps, which are then connected to the production line, are covered with special tape with an expedition number. Each barrel is marked with a label with information about the manufacturer, seller, batch number with the appropriate BIO certification and, of course, a warning about the sterility of the product. Improper handling in a non-sterile environment can introduce bacteria into this beautiful, pure raw material. That is why they are stored in a dark, air-conditioned room. It is so cold in our warehouse that I have to wear a jacket during the daily inspection, and it is thirty outside. We care for them with the same love with which the grower treated their beautiful rose bushes. He concentrated all his efforts on a clear goal, i.e. a high percentage of essential oil in the beautiful flowers. And you, our customers, will appreciate this comprehensive care in the intoxicating scent and quality of our BIO rose water duo and exclusive pure rose oil, with which we develop innovative packaging.
Liquid gold
Essential oils also have their own storage standards. Immediately after distillation, they are sealed in certified French containers. And then provided with the same accompanying documentation as floral waters. Given the astronomically high price 100% pure “Bulgarian rose oil”, the original variety Rosa Damascena Mill., which we uncompromisingly seek, is still sealed in a tube and provided with with the EU logo “Protected Geographical Indication”. I probably don't need to tell you how many documents we had to sign when taking over this treasure. One feels like one is taking over a shipment of the most secret of secret state documents. This fact alone enhances the feeling of exclusivity and the enormous quality of this luxury item. Once again, we have them safely stored in the dark and cold, under several locks for purely pragmatic reasons. 100% pure Bulgarian rose oil is called "liquid gold" for a reason. Currently, the price of 1g of genuine "Bulgarian rose oil" corresponds to approximately the price of 1 gram of 14 kt. gold, which speaks for itself. And that is why it is often mixed and adulterated. Our mission is to present to you the "uncompromisingly" guarded purity and quality of this protected gem, which, despite your great interest, cannot be rushed. Part of our intention is also to document the journey of our Rose line from the field to the final transport in our innovative packaging to the Czech Republic.
And now we move on to the next phase – to our innovative packaging, whose design we are working on day and night. I am very much looking forward to presenting them to you. I just need a little more of your patience. After all, beauty cannot be rushed!
