This milder type of mint with its fresh and slightly sweet menthol aroma supports concentration and memory. It stimulates brain activity. Encourages fatigue, mental stress, nervousness or weakness (e.g. travel sickness). An excellent helper for stuffy noses and colds and headaches. It has a cooling effect.

In cosmetics, it is used for problematic and eczematous skin. It tightens pores and eliminates the appearance of blackheads.

It also repels insects such as mosquitoes, fleas, and flies.

Spearmint contains less menthol than peppermint and is therefore safer for everyday use.
