Immortelle

The Latin name of the Italian immortelle, Helichrysum Italicum, comes from the Greek Hélios (i.e. sun) and Chrysos (i.e. gold), referring to its golden color. In English, it is called Immortal (i.e. immortal), Immortelle, because its flowers retain their shape, brightness and color even when cut and dried. Helichrysum flower water hydrates and regenerates dry, mature and problematic skin. It is characterized by a very distinctive scent. Whereas the aroma of its essential oil is more herbal with honey tones.
