Rosemary

The name Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) comes from the Latin "ros marinus," meaning "dew of the sea." Did you know that the first distillation of rosemary oil took place in the 13th century? There are several chemotypes of rosemary essential oils. Their refreshing woody aroma with a hint of sweetness promotes self-confidence and strengthens concentration. Chemotype 1,8-Cineole is traditionally the most anti-infectious of the rosemary oils. Chemotype Verbenone is the most suitable for skin care (in diluted form) due to its regenerative effects. Rosemary flower water, or rosemary hydrosol, cleanses oily and problematic skin and is a staple of natural hair care as it promotes hair growth.
