Lemon balm

Lemon balm (Melissa Officinalis) derives its botanical name from the word melitten i.e. bee, because in ancient times it was cultivated as a honey plant. The floral water and the precious essential oil from the distillation of this herb abound with a soothing, typically lemon balm scent.
