Lime
Limes (Citrus Aurantifolia) originally come from Asia. Today they are grown in Sicily, Spain, southern Italy and France, where they were brought during the so-called Crusades in the 12th and 13th centuries. Lime essential oil is produced by distilling and also pressing (extracting) the peel of this fruit. It is popular for its cheerful, energizing and fresh aroma, which uplifts the mind, clarifies thoughts and cleanses the aura.
