You've probably met someone who is very familiar to you, but you can't remember where you met them. Well, that's exactly what happened to me with the rock rose. The scent of the hydrosol was so familiar to me, but I couldn't associate it with the flower. So I found the image of the plant itself. That flower! I've seen that one before! Finally, I found the Latin name and it all clicked. Oh yeah, it's pure!
Rock rose hydrolate for walks
The flowers of the rock rose are so intoxicating not only with their scent but also with their appearance. It is as if you are hypnotized by a mythical animal in the thicket. It earned its name because of its similarity to the wild rose. And perhaps its effect is similar. It is a healer of both deep emotional wounds and physical ones. It has a hemostatic effect, so it can easily stop superficial bleeding. It is worth having rock rose hydrolate when walking with a restless child at hand, because such walks most often end with a broken knee or chin.

Alchemical labdanum
The plant produces resin, more precisely, sticky exudates of fragrant resin, which completely covers it, and it is this that has been collected and used for millennia in perfumery, as incense, and also as a medicine. You can find it under the name labdanum and perhaps as if we were in the workshop of the alchemist Edward Kelly, trying to materialize darkness with his help.
Aromatherapy with rock rose
The rock rose also opens up the topic of repeating the same mistakes. Its scent can accompany us on the path of self-awareness and humility, which is important for learning from every mistake. If we focus on the past, life's failures or the weaknesses of our personality, the rock rose will not allow us to open old grievances and will allow us to think about a better future. Perhaps this is due to its calm nature combined with the well-being when it suns on a rocky slope and its aromatic leaves, in the heat of the sun, give the surroundings a rich and persistent fragrance. Give me your money and knock on this plant's door, because it will welcome you with open arms.
