Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) and its scent will always be sensual, but also mysterious to me. Geranium is said to be like a flamenco dancer. So passionate, so hot and penetrating. A quality essential oil has a fresh floral scent that is pleasant to everyone. I really like the scent, but I can't find a passionate dancer in it. Perhaps something ethereal and yet confident. What tells us: "Now I'm here and look at me!"
Magic cloak
What you need, it will give us. Essential oils have long been known to work where they are needed. Who would have thought that its sweetly floral scent has antiseptic and antibacterial effects. It is perfect for a healing mixture in a roll-on and smells beautiful. Be sure that it will take care of your body, mind and soul. The scent has a cooling effect that tames hysteria, stabilizes and harmonizes emotions. Its cooling effect comes in handy for problems during menopause and, as well as putting in order upset feelings, it helps with hormonal imbalance. When used in a diffuser, just one drop is enough and you will suddenly geranium covers them with his magic cloak.
Rose or Geranium?!
And you can't remember a geranium? We're talking about Pelargonium odoratum. A plant with pink flowers that once adorned our grandmothers' windows. Don't confuse it with the geranium that is typical today. In the 19th century, gardeners planted it along the roads, where its scent would be caught on the skirts of passing ladies. The leaves exude a very penetrating aroma, identical to the high-quality essential oil that is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers and leaves. The scent is reminiscent of rose oil, which is very often adulterated with geranium essential oil, but does not fool the experienced noses of perfumers and other experts. When comparing rose and geranium essential oil, focus and feel their difference. Each has a different story, a different character and a unique soul.
Soul and tenderness
The soul of geranium contains wisdom, friendship, love and tenderness, but also strength and determination. It establishes intimate contact with us, gives us a sense of peace and security. It deepens feelings and experiences. It communicates differently with everyone and it depends only on us what we receive from it. That is the beautiful mystery of geranium. I would be very happy if this amazing plant became more widely known and people would start growing it again, not only for its repellent effect, but also for its leaves, reminiscent of precious lace, which will decorate our gardens.
