Carefree ride of the tangerine

Tropical fruit tangerine. So refreshing, so cooling, and yet we only get a taste for it in winter, instead of summer. We all associate tangerines with Santa Claus and Christmas. I feel like I haven't even eaten tangerines at any other time of year. It's probably because different types of tangerines start to ripen in mid-September and their season ends only in December. Nature has it all figured out well, after all, it's during this time that we all catch the coldest and need the most vitamins. And not only the body, but also the soul craves the encouragement of tangerines. In winter, we miss the sun the most. The sun is a source of vitamin D, and a lack of sunlight results in depression and anxiety, among other things. And tangerines are our sunshine. They're an uncomplicated child's joy. Have you ever felt the fresh powder? Then hurry up and build a snowman, make angels, and throw snowballs at each other. Just like little children would play.

The freedom of the inner child

Mandarin essential oil (Citrus reticulata) relieves mental tension and positively disperses depression and anxiety. Mandarin is also suitable for children's souls. When studies were conducted in children's homes to find out which essential oils children choose most often, Mandarin was the winner. And just as I like to use Mandarin in mixtures for children, I also recommend it to those adults who need to free their inner child. Yes, I'm talking about those who are always sullen and don't know how to enjoy the little things, for them I would choose tangerine (Citrus tangerine). It differs from mandarin in its sweeter and fuller aroma. Mandarin encourages action, while tangerine prepares for peaceful sleep or relaxation.

Playfulness without limits

When I open the bottle of essential oil, I feel as if the mandarin is trying to free itself from me, wanting to show me the whole world. I just have to help it a little, because its plump body struggles with the narrow neck of the bottle. And when its scent envelops my senses, I immediately feel like playing. Like flicking glass marbles. I told you that mandarin encourages playfulness. And if I go back to the summer season – when we finally get a taste for mandarin, but somehow it is missing in stores, her scent will serve us well.
