Before Christmas, we established cooperation with the beautiful Brno salon Allori, whose owner is a professional aromatherapist Darina Ellingerová. Darka is a very kind and smiling person who tries to help people around her, not only through her work. In her aromatherapy profession, she focuses on purely female relationship issues. She connects body and soul care with her colleagues. About her holistic approach, her path to aromatherapy and SoZoLe We talked about Rose products in our nice interview.
Hi Dari, thank you for taking the time to visit us and for reviewing the products. SoZoLe Rose has found a place in your salon. I have a few questions for you.
1. What is aromatherapy for you?
Hi Veronika, thank you for the beautiful introduction. I will try to give an answer in a few concise words. For me, it is work and thinking in the context of a person's story, when I am interested in their experience, physical condition and the intention they come with. At the same time, aromatherapy shows me its strength and limits. I see it as a complementary method that will support us in acute and chronic situations. What I am grateful for from aromatherapy is the broadening of horizons and many answers to questions regarding health and life lessons. For me, it is the first solution I reach for when I feel discomfort.
2. How did you get into aromatherapy?
I have been drawn to natural directions since I was a child, so I searched and searched and composed into my life what came my way. At first, I used aromatherapy to enrich my pedicure and manicure practice, but it wasn't enough for me. I wanted to elevate my field, to have answers to my questions, so during the aromatherapy course given by Adéla Zrubecká, the information about studying at the Institute of Aromatherapy in PragueI signed up with my husband at the time and together we set off on this fragrant pilgrimage.
3. I know that you are dedicated to purely women's issues. Tell us more about your diploma thesis "The Genitourinary System as a Gateway to Healthy Relationships", which you completed at the Institute of Aromatherapy in Prague.
Because my work is intertwined with listening to stories, I took my diploma thesis as an opportunity to conduct my own mini-research. I was interested in how much the experience of partner relationships is related to the health of the genitourinary system. I didn't know how to grasp it all, so Adéla Zrubecká helped me again. This title came from her mind. I talked for five to nine times, she listened to me, I remember her look and then she said: "And how about the Genitourinary System as a Gateway to Healthy Relationships?" And there it was. She put into a few words what I had been describing in many sentences.
The whole work is based on women's attitudes towards men, their experiences of relationships and the vitality of individual areas of the genitourinary system. I am developing this work further and the connections between emotional experience and physical manifestation are being confirmed. Here I have excellent results with aromatherapy. Of course, it is not only about my work, but also about the solidarity and cooperation of women who are looking for a solution.
I have incorporated this concept to the course, led by a physiotherapist Bc. Romana KosíkováCombining physiotherapy with aromatherapy brings us favorable results and this collaboration is one of the most valuable in my professional life.
My thesis has truly become a gateway that has not only opened new horizons for me, but also brought interesting people, collaborations, and values into my life.
4. You have a beautiful salon in Brno with a fancy name – Allori. How did the name come about and what does it mean?
When I was creating the website, I knew I wanted to have an herb or aromatherapy plant in the name. I love symbolism, so I picked two favorites. Pine and laurel. Then I looked at how these words sounded in different languages. One afternoon, the decision to choose laurel ripened in me, so I just played with words. When I went to a meeting about the website, they asked me what domain I had chosen. And I said laurel, but I don't know in what language yet. I really liked the Italian version - Allori. We immediately checked to see if this domain was available, and it was.
The meaning of laurel is victory, warmth, it awakens one's own imagination and potential. It belongs to the element of fire, which is about love and joy. And this power allows our dreams and goals to come true. Fire is exuberant, radiant and welcoming. Thanks to it, we will recognize what will truly fulfill and satisfy us. The archetype for this element is the MAGICIAN, inspiring and charismatic. He wants to let earthly things be permeated with something unearthly. He overcomes separation with miraculous power and unites various elements into one whole. Here I perceive a huge gift for all who work at Allori and thus create a holistic organism.
Laurel grows in the sun, allows for perspective and harmonizes. It elevates the mind, strengthens concentration and memory. Through the sun and perspective it supports a lack of self-confidence. It strengthens purposefulness, decisiveness and rationality and supports nervousness and shyness in speaking in front of other people. It helps to find one's own Self and thus helps with self-doubt. It strengthens Inspiration, creativity, courage and intuition. So this is Allori.

5. How did the products find their way into your salon? SoZoLe Rose, what appealed to you about them?
Po SoZoLe I've been looking for a while. When I had a booth at Aromatherapy and Herbs Festival in Brno, so upon arrival the car was SoZoLe right in front of us. I wanted to visit your stand, but I could hardly tear myself away from mine. So I thought it would come at the right time. When I met you in person for the second time, it was clear to me that I was just a step away from our cooperation. I was more attracted to it. First of all, Bulgaria is close to me, specifically Sozopol, where I have repeatedly traveled and always brought rose products. When I read an article on your blog about preservation and quality control, it appealed to me even more. I am currently getting acquainted with hydrolates from Scots pine, Swarm of hairy, Damask roses and of course Laurel.
6. What are your first impressions of the pine and rose hydrolate?
Pine hydrosol is a gentle woody boost for me. It helps me with physical fatigue. On the other hand, Damask Rose hydrosol gives me a boost when I'm mentally tired. When I'm mentally overworked. Its scent takes me to the sea, where I used to fly :-)
7. What can we find in your salon and what can we take away from it?
The salon has three sections. The first is services. The main field is instrumental pedicure and manicure, followed by aromatherapy and massages. My colleague and husband complement each other. This healthy core is complemented by the aforementioned physiotherapist, who organizes health exercises every Thursday. This is where the second section slowly blends in, which is organizing courses and renting out space to external people. With Romča, we organize pelvic floor course and healthy feet course. We complement each other perfectly and thus create a connection between the physical body, emotional and psychological experience. This gives course participants a wide range of possible solutions in the given topics. The Hejčkárna, as I call this part of the salon, is offered for rent for organizing courses and workshops. The third section that I offer are the ones created by me aromatherapy compositions. My next vision is to launch my own brand. I'm still at the beginning, so I'm working on this idea step by step and developing it to make it a reality.
8. One of the words that describes Allori is support. Who does Allori support?
Everyone who enters the salon. Including me. The space has a genius loci, it was and is created with love and enthusiasm. From this comes the possibility that it is such a chance and it depends on who seizes this chance and how. Again, including me.
There is a beautiful story connected to the creation of the salon. It came to me at the moment when I was ready to have my own salon, for the salon itself. Until then, I had intentions such as: to be appreciated by certain people; to escape from an environment where I was no longer comfortable; to be more bossy and work less... Well, depending on the current situation, I had different intentions. Life was gracious to me and sent me spaces only when I understood and felt that the salon should fulfill its mission, and not solve my problems.
I was six or seven months pregnant when this situation occurred. I still remember entering the house where the salon is located and shaking hands with the owners. A wonderful sympathy ran through me. We walked through the entire premises and my vision was in full swing. Minor construction modifications were necessary and everything was running smoothly. Everything important was working out, many people offered me support and help on their own, the hygienist even brought me a printed operating manual. I managed to do everything I needed to do before giving birth and, coincidentally, the first contractions came in the boudoir, as I call the front room in the salon. We opened towards the end of the sixth week of labor, so I was present at two births.
Everything else reflects this story and is carried in this spirit. Allori therefore supports everyone who enters the salon, as well as those who work in it. The degree of freedom and support is related to the degree of responsibility. That is why Allori is also a certain opportunity.

9. What would you like to wish your readers for the New Year 2022?
Because I see how important it is to return to our own essence, I wish people to find beauty in ONENESS and to be able to perceive fragments of beautiful moments during the day. This way we can then spread loving waves and find our mission. When we do our mission, we ride on happiness hormones and that makes us healthy. And this way we can flow through life and be beneficial to ourselves and others, to be upright and look ourselves in the eye. So I wish people to discover the power of ONENESS.
Thank you very much for the interview and I wish you and your salon www.allori.cz all the best and many satisfied clients.
